Plain-language terms
Use it deliberately.
By using Quiet Dictation Bridge, you agree to these terms. The utility is designed for your own consensual dictation, not covert recording or remote control.
Acceptable use
Use the microphone only where you are allowed to speak or record. Do not use the bridge to intercept another person, transmit unlawful material, or access a device without its owner’s explicit permission. Pairing codes should be treated as temporary secrets.
The service
The free edition includes local pairing, dictation where supported, review, manual copy, transcript history, and data export. Quiet Kit is a one-time license for the listed comfort features. Browser, operating-system, network, and language-pack support can affect availability and accuracy.
Purchases and refunds
Sociobot/Dodo is the merchant of record. The checkout page shows the final currency, tax, and price before purchase. Refunds are handled by the merchant of record; a refund revokes the associated license. A license is for the buyer’s own devices and must not be resold or published.
No warranty
The software is provided “as is,” without warranties. Always review dictated text before acting on it, especially for medical, legal, financial, safety-critical, or destructive commands. We are not liable for recognition errors, clipboard mistakes, local network failure, or lost browser storage to the extent allowed by law.
Changes
These terms are effective 28 August 2026. Continued use after a published change means you accept the updated terms.
